POSITION SUMMARY: Stay In The Game is looking for a Digital Communications Specialist to join our growing team!

As a Digital Communications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing digital communication strategies, managing social media channels, handling public relations (PR) activities, and fostering community engagement for our organization. You will be responsible for creating compelling content, managing online platforms, building relationships, and maintaining a positive brand image.

Schedule: This position requires the right candidate to be able to work between the hours of Monday – Friday: 8 AM PST – 5 PM PST

Responsibilities

Develop engaging and creative content for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, blogs, newsletters, and other relevant channels.
Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all digital communication materials.
Conduct thorough research to identify relevant and trending topics, ensuring the content is up-to-date and aligns with the organization's goals.
Manage and administer social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Plan and execute social media campaigns, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring, paid advertising, and analyzing performance metrics.
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
Stay informed about emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to maximize social media effectiveness.
Assist in developing PR strategies and campaigns to maintain a positive brand image and increase media coverage.
Write and edit press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials to communicate key messages effectively.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other media contacts to generate media coverage and opportunities.
Develop and implement strategies to engage and build relationships with the organization's online community and target audience.
Monitor and moderate online communities, including forums, social media groups, and comment sections, to foster positive interactions and address concerns.
Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Manager to identify community needs and create initiatives to enhance engagement and support.
Track and analyze digital communication metrics, including social media engagement, website traffic, email campaigns, and other relevant data.
Generate reports to measure the effectiveness of digital communication strategies and provide insights for improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in digital communications, social media management, PR, or a related role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different platforms and audiences.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
Familiarity with SEO principles and practices to optimize content for search engines.
Understanding of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media advertising.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
Experience in community management and engagement is a plus.
Knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools is desirable.
Strong organizational skills.
Creative problem-solving aptitude.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
